Jackson Kayak Kraken 13.5

The Jackson Kayak Kraken 13.5 stands as one of the most purpose-built fishing kayaks on the water today, designed from the hull up for anglers who demand stability, storage, and serious fishing performance. Stretching 13 feet 5 inches with a generous beam, this kayak offers an exceptionally stable platform that lets anglers stand confidently to sight-fish, cast, or fight a trophy catch without the wobble that plagues narrower boats. The hull design incorporates Jackson's signature tunnel-style hull, which not only enhances stability but also allows for easy integration of trolling motors and shallow water anchor systems, making it a favorite among kayak anglers who want to upgrade their rig with power options while retaining the simplicity of paddle propulsion when needed.

The Jackson Kraken 13.5 is a purpose-built fishing kayak aimed at anglers who prioritize stability, storage, and standing comfort over outright speed.

Storage and rigging are where the Kraken 13.5 truly separates itself from typical fishing kayaks. The massive front tankwell comfortably swallows a milk crate or cooler, while the rear storage area accommodates rod holders, tackle, and additional gear, giving anglers room to organize a full day's worth of equipment without clutter underfoot. The kayak features Jackson's SlideTrax accessory rail system, allowing paddlers to customize the deck with rod holders, fish finders, GPS units, and other accessories exactly where they want them. An adjustable, high-back seat provides all-day comfort during long fishing excursions, and the elevated seating position improves both visibility over the water and casting range, two details that matter enormously once the bite turns on and every cast counts.

Built with durable rotomolded polyethylene construction, the Kraken 13.5 is engineered to withstand the abuse of rocky shorelines, oyster beds, and repeated launches from trailers or truck beds, making it a reliable companion for both freshwater lakes and coastal saltwater flats. Multiple molded-in rod holders, bungee tie-downs, and paddle keepers keep gear secure while underway, and the kayak's weight capacity supports anglers loaded down with coolers, crates, and electronics without sacrificing performance. Whether chasing bass in a quiet backwater or stalking redfish across skinny coastal flats, the Jackson Kayak Kraken 13.5 delivers the stability, storage, and angler-focused design that have made it a standout choice in the fishing kayak category.
