Brooklyn Kayak Company BKC RA220 Tandem Fishing Kayak

The Brooklyn Kayak Company BKC RA220 is a sit-on-top tandem fishing kayak built for anglers who want stability, versatility, and room to bring a partner along for the day. Stretching just over 12 feet in length with a generous beam width, the RA220 delivers a wide, stable platform that lets anglers stand, cast, and reposition gear without worrying about tipping. Its hull design strikes a balance between tracking efficiency and maneuverability, making it equally capable on calm lakes, slow rivers, and light coastal waters. The open cockpit layout can be configured for one or two paddlers, giving fishing buddies or family members the flexibility to share the water together or allowing a solo angler to spread out and use the extra space for tackle and gear.

Functionality for serious fishing is built into every inch of the RA220. The kayak comes equipped with multiple flush-mounted and adjustable rod holders, keeping lines ready without cluttering the deck. Large, sealed hatches provide dry storage for electronics, tackle boxes, and personal items, while bungee-secured cargo areas at the bow and stern handle larger gear like coolers, anchors, or crates. The kayak also includes molded-in footrests and comfortable, removable padded seats that can be adjusted for different paddler heights, ensuring long days on the water remain comfortable whether fishing solo or with a partner. Scupper holes throughout the hull allow self-draining performance, keeping the deck drier and safer in choppy conditions.

Constructed from high-density, UV-resistant polyethylene, the BKC RA220 is built to withstand the rigors of saltwater and freshwater fishing alike, resisting cracking, fading, and impact damage over years of use. Its paddle holders, carrying handles, and accessory mounting points make transport and on-water organization straightforward, while its respectable weight capacity accommodates anglers, passengers, and loaded gear without sacrificing stability. Whether used for inshore saltwater fishing, lake outings, or slow-moving river trips, the RA220 is designed to give kayak anglers a dependable, feature-rich platform that supports both solo adventures and shared fishing experiences.
